this is kind of an impromptu mini-picspam/icon post to celebrate T-Swizzle's BIG FUCKING WIN last night at the CMA's. i'm not a huge fan of country music but i loveeee Taylor Swift so much. her music is always honest, simple, and has lyrics that every girl can relate to. so this is my congratulations to her - you deserved it no matter what people say bb! ♥

This is an impromptu fanmix post to celebrate one of the most important Phile days of the year, 10/13. Not only is it the production company, but the birthday of one Fox Mulder. Now, anyone who knows me knows that I have never been a Mulder girl. I have unbelievably large amounts of love for him, his quest and his journey, but I have always felt more connected to Scully. But one can't deny his magnetism, selflessness, humour, loyalty, his uber hotness and fantastic hair , and his fight to find the truth to help save the ones he loves.
This fanmix is in honour of the man who helped make my favourite character who she is. This is for you, Fox Mulder. For helping us all want to believe.

the internet connection in my area is so much fail it kind of hurts. first we were going to go with Bell, then we decided to go with Rogers, and then Rogers lost our order so we are going back to Bell. Monday, kids. I should be back in the land of living on Monday.

Did everyone watch Glee on Wednesday? YOU BETTER HAVE! It was even better than I expected. I'm so glad it wasn't one of those 'fizzle-after-the-premiere' shows. And ratings wise it kicked ass too, so mayjah yayz for Glee.

I love Glee. I just watched the Pilot last night and now i'm all omgwtfbbq where has this show been all mah life? I also love Matthew Morrison and Lea Michele so hard so I was pretty much destined to be all over this. Why I haven't checked it out until now, IDK!? but i'm glad I finally did. Yayz! Happy 1st Anniversary 'I Want To Believe'!. I can't believe it was a year ago today that it came out. I will never forget the summer of IWTB. All the squeeing, new friends, rewatches, pictures, publicity, fan fiction, and general Mulder/Scully love that was one of the most epic fan re-birth I think fandom has ever seen. Thanks to Chris Carter, Frank Spotnitz, Gillian Anderson, & David Duchovney for bringing us this lovefest. I cannot WAIT until 2012 bbs!

This is my first entry for the Spock/Uhura table I picked up. I am going to tackle the prompts in order as they are presented on the table and they are all going to be a sequential story. Not neccessarily different chapters, but the events depicted will be in the order that they happened. The first starts at the end and the next will go back to the beginning and work its way to the first story posted and try to explain everything. Sounds complicated now but hopefully it works out, lol. I see it taking place in the year leading up to their boarding of The Enterprise.
Anywho, enough explaning lol. Here it is!

picspammy challenge where we were asked to compare/contrast something. So I decided on a Grey's Anatomy/Star Trek theme. Now, I know what you are thinking. What the eff do Grey's and Star Trek have in common? The answer? Elevators. Elevators of love and angst and wonderfullness. Elevators where OTPs have their defining moments. I love both of these couples and I wanted to put this question out there... Who had the best elevator scene? Merder? Or Spock/Uhura?
The following picspam is evidence on which you should base your decision. So comment on the pretty and tell me, who did it better? :)
My choice? As much as I love Spock/Uhura and the beauty of their scene, if you look up 'elevator' in the dictionary, there is a picture of Meredith and Derek beside it. ♥

So, I am a little afraid to post this because I haven't done fanfiction in FOREVER. And other than a few X-Files drabbles, I have never done anything scifi related. This is completely new territory for me, seeing as how I am a new Trek fan, but I was just so drawn in to the story (or lack thereof) of these two that I couldn't help but have a go at trying to write it. I hope I did them justice and got the voices right and if there are ST technicalities that I got wrong please tell me! I did my best to research but I couldn't find everything. This is also not beta'ed (but i would LOVE one since I plan on continuing to write these two, so if you are interested I will pay you in cookies :) ). Anywho, enough of me trying to talk my way out of posting this. Comments are unbelievably love, as is criticism. And feel free to friend me, I would love more Spock/Uhura shippers on my LJ :)

My entry for the current picspammychallenge. It was to pick your favourite scene or sequence and spam it. Immediately my brain went to Grey's and all the great scenes that it has provided me with throughout the last how many years. I love this show. Before anything else, this was MY show. It was hard narrowing scenes down but I managed to pick my fav 14, ranging between Season 1-3. And of course there are many, many major spoilers for the show in here so do not proceed if you don't want to ruin anything.
As usual, please do not use these for icons or any other kind of graphics. I worked a real long time on this one and if you want an icon, ask and I will be happy to make one for you. New friends are always welcome and comments are love!
